History:
Fakir’s destiny has always been entwined with fate. He was born into a relatively well-off family, residing in a rather small British town with his full-blooded mother and muggle-born father. Born with a natural aptitude toward magic, he was a cheerful and optimistic child who enjoyed writing stories and riding on his toy broomstick. His life changed, however, when he overheard his parents discussing the grim words of an enigmatic seer; prophetic words which had been murmured to them just a few days prior. Drawn to the worried tones in his parents’ voices, Fakir hovered around the corner to listen and caught the end of a whisper: …fated to be a useless knight, unable to protect anyone… He was shocked to find that they were speaking of him, and ran to his room before he could hear any more.
Shortly after, his mother incurred a contagious illness and he was sent to live with his muggle uncle, Charon, until his father could nurse her back to health. Little did Fakir know that it would be the last time he would see either of his parents alive. As he stood before the two coffins, he couldn’t shake the slender fingers of fate grasping around his throat, whispering in his ear …unable to protect anyone…
After that day, Fakir changed. Determined to be useful, he became serious and stoic, as well as fiercely over-protective of those he cares about. This includes his friend Siegfried, who he has nicknamed ‘Mytho’. Fakir has the tendency to order Mytho around, in attempt to protect his friend from his own curious nature. Fakir is also one of the few who are aware of the dual sides of Mytho’s personality and goes to great lengths to protect his friend’s secret. He is difficult to gain the trust of, but extremely loyal to those whom he deems worthy of his trust. Fakir does have a kind side, however, which he seldom shows, except to the few people close to him. Fakir excels at most of his subjects, being especially talented in Defense against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, and Charms. Tall, with tanned skin and green eyes, Fakir is handsome, yet seems very cold to most. One has to wonder, is Fakir fated to be useless as the prophecy said, or is there a very crucial part of the prediction that even he is unaware of?
